Royal Terberg Group B.V., the holding company, is located in IJsselstein and provides guidance and services to its operating companies in Legal & Tax, Finance & Control, IT, Data Science, HRM, Marketing & Communication and Procurement. It employs about 80 people who also support the Royal Terberg Group Board of Directors with strategic planning, governance, and compliance.
Jouw rol als Global Learning & Development Manager
As Global Learning & Development Manager, you shape and coordinate the group-wide strategy for Talent Management and Learning & Development. You are the architect behind a future-proof approach to leadership development, succession planning, learning and development and talent reviews.
At Terberg, learning and development is considered as an essential part of the broader sustainability approach. You operate at both strategic and tactical levels: from designing frameworks and selecting global vendors, to coordinating group-wide programs and advising the Group HR Director and Board of Directors.
You thrive in an international, entrepreneurial environment, building alignment, driving engagement, and delivering impact. You play a key role in building a future-ready organizational learning culture, where people are central and leadership continuously evolves.
You report to the Group HR Director and work closely with Division’s HR Directors and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Management

Set group-wide standards for talent reviews and succession planning.

Coordinate the annual talent and succession cycle across divisions and group functions.

Leadership Development for top 100.

Guide HR and business leaders in identifying key positions and high-potential talent and translate insights into development and risk mitigation plans.

Consolidate and present talent insights to the Executive and Supervisory Board.
Learning & Development

Design and manage the global L&D portfolio (personal effectiveness, leadership, compliance, and functional training).

Lead the global implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS), guide and advice.

Select and manage global learning vendors and partners.
Stakeholder Management

Act as trusted advisor for division HR Directors and senior business leaders across the group.

Prepare strategic proposals (power point) for the RTG Board of Directors.

Foster collaboration and alignment within the divisions.

You excel in cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration. You bring together people and perspectives, promote knowledge sharing and create support. You are comfortable facilitating sessions for senior audiences and representing the learning and development function at an Executive level.
You demonstrate strong ownership and execution power. You maintain momentum, guard structure and ensure that plans do not just remain ideas but are implemented with quality and measurable results.
Above all, you embody integrity. You handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism and act as a trusted partner who radiates and earns trust.
You recognize yourself in the following:

Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business or related field.

At least 7 years of experience in Talent Management and/or L&D in an international context.

Proven experience with succession planning, talent reviews, and managing Learning & Development.

Experience in decentralized, international, family-owned industrial organizations.

Experience with LMS implementation and global vendor management.

Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
