It employs about 80 people who also support the Royal Terberg Group Board of Directors with strategic planning, governance, and compliance.
Jouw rol als Global Marketing & Communications Manager
As Global Marketing & Communications Manager, you will define and strengthen the brand positioning of Royal Terberg Group. You will be responsible for developing and guarding the corporate marketing and communication strategy, ensuring the Terberg brand is consistently visible both internally and externally in a strong, future-focused way.
In this position, you will play a key part in driving the company’s international growth, transformation, and cohesion of this leading family-owned business.
In this key role, you will report to the CEO. You will be part of the holding’s Management Team and lead one direct report. You will work closely with the CEO, division directors, HR, and external partners.
As the Global Marketing & Communications Manager, you will operate at strategic, tactical, and operational levels to develop, position, and execute the marketing and communication policy of Royal Terberg Group.
Strategic

You shape the overall marketing and communication strategy in line with the company’s longterm vision

You act as a sparring partner and advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors on strategic choices and communication issues.

You ensure a consistent corporate identity in all brand materials and messaging across channels and business units.

You promote internal marketing awareness through presentations, workshops, and collaboration.
Tactical & Operational

You act as a spokesperson for Royal Terberg Group towards the media.

You support the CEO with presentations, speeches, and external profiling.

You ensure a consistent group-wide approach and act as a link between the holding and divisions.

You translate strategy into concrete tools and campaigns, together with colleagues and agencies.

You work on employer branding, onboarding communication, and job branding with HR.

You ensure correct application of the corporate style in all internal and external communications.

You provide communication support for projects such as sustainability reporting and annual reports.

You switch effortlessly between strategy and execution, from advising the CEO to creating content or guiding a brand campaign. You communicate complex messages clearly and convincingly, tailored to the audience and channel.
With your persuasiveness and ability to connect, you engage stakeholders up to board level in driving renewal and change. You build support, bring structure, and keep a clear focus on impact and consistency.
You are proactive, results-oriented, and opportunity-driven. You stay up to date on developments in marketing & communications and translate them into concrete initiatives that contribute to Royal Terberg Group’s ambitions.

You recognize yourself in the following:

A completed bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or similar.

A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in corporate marketing and communication roles within an international environment.

Proven experience in stakeholder management at executive level (CEO, Board of Directors).

Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
