Your role as Global Quality Program Manager

As Global Quality Program Manager, you have the task to translate The Forbo Flooring Systems quality strategy to the sales entities and production units and to ensure that the quality standards are up par with the Forbo vision.

You will coordinate and initiate global quality projects to ensure that the quality of Forbo products is guaranteed. The quality team you will be working with, is distributed over 14 production facilities and four business units. Quality related matters are managed separately by local Quality Managers and your goal is to standardize quality processes in cooperation with the local Quality Managers.

Your responsibilities:

• Acountable for the Quality Strategy roadmap and its successful implementation;
• Process owner for the worldwide execution of the Forbo Flooring Systems Quality Strategy;
• Initiate, develop and implement projects within the scope of the Quality strategy;
• Maintain frequent customer contact to monitor our ability to deliver the expected quality;
• Managing Quality in the value chain including sub-contractors;
• Encouraging change and improvements in performance and quality;
• Identify risks to quality and prioritize actions and processes that mitigate these risks;
• Review, develop and secure necessary competence in quality management regularly;
• Develop, plan and implementation of quality management training;
• Represents Forbo Flooring Systems at selected third parties such as NGOs, Universities, Research institutes, Industry associations, Suppliers, etc.;
• Facilitate and guide the interactions between Regions, Business Units and Central Functions to make the organization effective.

Your profile

As Global Quality Program Manager, you're able to adapt quickly and communicate easily at all levels of the organisation. You should have a good understanding of the business and you must be aware of the different quality challenges throughout the production facilities world-wide.

You’re enterprising, proactive and sensitive to your surroundings. Problem solving is one of your skills. You’re assertive, yet also approachable. You are able to operate in a tense environment where you have to manage organizational interests but at the same time ensure that quality managers are aligned and willing to change.

The person that we are looking for has the following profile:

• Master’s degree in Quality Management, Process Management or similar;
• Seasoned in Quality management (minimum 5 years’ experience) and a deep understanding of quality in worldwide companies;
• Proven project management skills with a successful track record;
• As an entrepreneur, you are proactive and able to combine extensive project management and analytical skills with a hands-on approach to deliver the results;
• Strong change management skills and ability to adapt both quickly and resourcefully to shifting priorities;
• Experience in working with organizations advocating differing policies and conflict resolution;
• Outstanding and concise written and verbal communication skills required;
• Fluency in spoken and written English is requisite; Dutch, German and French language skills would be an advantage.
